Present Tense in English Grammar

Present Tense – Which describes a current activity or state of being.

1 – Present indefinite tense

जब वाक्य के अंत मे ता है , ती है , ते है आदि शब्द आए वहाँ present indefinite tense होता है ।

Helping verb / Auxiliary verb
साधारण वाक्यों मे किसी भी सहायक क्रिया का प्रयोग नहीं होता है उसमे सहायक क्रिया he, she, it अन्य नाम के साथ s या es का प्रयोग किया जाता है ।

Negative sentences और interrogative sentences मे do/does का प्रयोग किया जाता है ।

Use of Do – I, We, They, You के साथ
Use of Does – He, She, It या अन्य नामों के साथ

I, We, Me , My, Mine, Your, Us	You, Your, Yours	He, She, It, Any name They, Her, Him, Them

नियम

1. s या es हमेशा third person के साथ ही लगता है ।
2. s या es हमेशा साधारण वाक्यों मे प्रयोग होता है।
3. जब प्राक्रतिक घटना होती है तब subject it का प्रयोग होता है ।
4. Does हमेशा third person मे प्रयोग होता है।

Subject – कर्ता
जो काम करता है ।

Object – कर्म
जो काम हो ।

Verb – क्रिया
जो काम किया गया हो ।

Affirmative Sentence

subject + v1st +s/es + object + other word

• मैं फुटबॉल खेलता हूँ ।
  I plays a football.
• वह फुटबॉल खेलता है ।
  He plays a football.
• वह दौड़ता है ।
  He runs.

Negative Sentence

subject + do/does + not + v1st + object + other word

• आज वर्षा नहीं होती है ।
  It does not rain today.
• वह मुंबई नहीं जाता है ।
  He does not go to Mumbai.
• वे खो खो नहीं खेलते हैं ।
  They do not play kho kho.

Interrogative Sentence

do/does  + subject + v1st + object + other word + ?

• क्या तुम सवाल हल करते हो ?
  Do you solve sum ?
• क्या वे मच्छर मारते है ?
  Do they kill mosquito ?
• क्या किसान फसल काटता हैं ?
  Does farmer cut crop ?

Interronegative Sentence

do/does  + subject + not + v1st + object + other word + ?

• क्या तुम सवाल हल नहीं करते हो ?
  Do you not solve sum ?
• क्या वे मच्छर नहीं मारते है ?
  Do they not kill mosquito ?
• क्या किसान फसल नहीं काटता हैं ?
  Does farmer not cut crop ?

Present Continuous Tense

जब वाक्य के अंत मे रहा है , रही है , रहे है आदि शब्द आए तब present continuous tense होता है ।

Helping verb – is/am/are

is का उपयोग He, She, It, Name के साथ करते है ।
are का उपयोग We, They, You के साथ करते है ।
am का उपयोग केवल I के साथ करते है ।

Affirmative Sentence

sub + is/are/am + vI + ing + object + other word

वह फूटबाल खेल रहा है ।
He is playing football.

मैं फल खा रहा हूँ ।
I am eating fruit.

हम क्रिकेट खेल रहे हैं ।
We are playing cricket.

Negative Sentence

sub + is/are/am + not + vI + ing + object + other word

वह फूटबाल नहीं खेल रहा है ।
He is not playing football.

मैं फल नहीं खा रहा हूँ ।
I am not eating fruit.

हम क्रिकेट नहीं खेल रहे हैं ।
We are not playing cricket.

Interrogative Sentence

is/are/am + sub + vI + ing + object + other word + ?

क्या वह फूटबाल खेल रहा है ?
Is he playing football ?

क्या मैं फल खा रहा हूँ ?
Am i eating fruit ?

क्या हम क्रिकेट खेल रहे हैं ?
Are we playing cricket ?

Interro-negative Sentence

is/are/am + sub + not + vI + ing + object + other word + ?

क्या वह फूटबाल नहीं खेल रहा है ?
Is he not playing football ?

क्या मैं फल नहीं खा रहा हूँ ?
Am i not eating fruit ?

क्या हम क्रिकेट नहीं खेल रहे हैं ?
Are we not playing cricket ?
